A BREEZY PATIO IN ORBA

We moved here into our villa in February 2018. We love the views and the tranquillity of the Orba Valley. However, it soon became apparent that there was a breeze coming from both sides of the villa which whipped through our open terrace area by the swimming pool.

In fact, on some days, it was just so cold and windy, that we couldn’t use the outside naya area as it was just so uncomfortable.

We desperately wanted to enjoy the views and live an ‘open air’ lifestyle, that we knew we had to find a solution to the problem.

We called Crystal Windows and they came to study the issue and suggested we considered installing glass curtains to both sides of the terrace. The front of the terrace wasn’t where the breeze came in, so we decided to have the sides of the terrace enclosed.

What a difference it’s made to our lives! We can now use the terrace all year round, in comfort. We can enjoy the magnificent views 365 days a year, all cosy and protected by the biting winter wind.

Enclosing our terrace has been one of the best things we’ve done since we’ve been in Spain. We’ve created a really enjoyable living space now.
