Complete transformation of my home
‘ I have had this property for over 40 years, and used it essentially as a holiday home. But, in September 2014, we decided to make Spain our permanent home and realised that we needed to make improvements to the villa if we were to stay in it long term.
Some of the windows were broken, and it was incredibly dark inside. So, we decided to take advice from Crystal Windows regarding what we could do with the property in order to gain more light inside the property. We also had a dilemma in as much as we had very little shade in the summer months.
We were given so many different options by Crystal Windows, and we settled on new concertina doors to 2 walls, arched windows to the front of the property and a retractable sunroof on the patio.
Crystal Windows installed all the windows whilst I was in Holland and when I returned, I was thrilled with the results.
The new windows and doors have opened up the space and increased the light that floods into the lounge. I am astounded by the difference. In fact, I use the room a lot more now – I have spectacular views over the mountains and can really appreciate them now, whilst I’m eating at my dinner table.
Really, the changes I’ve made have transformed the house – it gives me much more than pleasure – I use the house in a different way now and have shade in the summer months, exactly when I need it.
The service was very good – we had to wait for another supplier to move the air conditioning unit, but that was a minor hiccup. All in all, I am thrilled with my new windows and doors and would thoroughly recommend Crystal Windows to anyone thinking about having new doors or windows.
